About the event
The outing will include Breeding birds; flower-rich wet meadow and invertebrates
Dress for the weather; wear boots with a good tread, or wellies as may be wet. Circular path; some narrow, uneven paths with roots, some boggy, so take your stick if you use one.
Bring lunch, drink, mat to sit on (and if you wish binoculars, hand lens, pots, &etc)

Hermand Birchwood SWT Reserve By car: car park for 4 cars (or 6 if there are no other cars and we can box our cars in) or on grass verge but please car share. Nearest town West Calder: By train then 40min walk (approx 2miles)
